Jadon Sancho has found himself heading back to Old Trafford after his season-long loan with Chelsea.
Last summer, Sancho returned from exile to Borussia Dortmund after a public bust-up with then manager Erik ten Hag saw the winger sent to the Bundesliga on a six-month loan.
However, his time at Carrington didn’t last long, with the former England international loaned once more to Stamford Bridge on deadline day, ready for the 2024/25 Premier League season.
Whilst Chelsea agreed initially to include an obligatory buy clause for £25 million into the loan contract, with London-based side have since pulled out of the agreement.
With disagreements over Sancho’s wage demands, Chelsea opted to pay the £5 million penalty clause to send Sancho back to United instead of retaining him permanently.
As such, United are now looking for other potential suitors, still well aware that his wage demands will put off the vast amount of interested parties.
That said, The Sun has now reported that three Premier League sides are all interested in Jadon Sancho, looking to sign him ready for their European campaigns.
Whilst Newcastle United and Tottenham Hotspur are looking to the winger to help with their Champions League campaigns, Aston Villa are reportedly keen for the 25-year-old to help them in the Europa League.
Sancho’s supported Chelsea with their UEFA Conference League run last season, even scoring in the final as The Blues beat Real Betis 4-1.
However, the trio of English sides will need to overcome his hefty salary demands if they truly intend on signing him this summer.
It’s unknown yet if contact has been made for a summer move, however United are keen to cash in on the winger this summer as they look to cut down their wage budget and generate funds for new signings.
