Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri featured as a substitute as defending champions England U21s commenced their European Championship campaign with a 3-1 win against Czechia.
Nwaneri entered the fray in the 70th minute as he replaced James McAtee and proceeded to make an impact as he showed good flair and cut in from the right flank on a couple of occasions.
The 18-year-old also took up some encouraging positions off the ball although he lost possession on a couple of occasions.
Nwaneri will hope to feature prominently when England take on Slovenia on Sunday.
Harvey Elliott, Jamal Rowe and Charlie Cresswell all scored for England, while Daniel Fila netted for Czechia.
