After firing Tom Thibodeau, the Knicks have been repeatedly denied chances to interview replacements for the big job.
The latest revelation from Shams Charania said that the Atlanta Hawks said no to New York’s request to speak with Quin Snyder.
Trae Young, Snyder’s most popular player, had a big response to the news.

Hawks fans like this response for a couple of reasons.
Firstly, they love the fact that Snyder is staying with the Hawks.
Although he hasn’t been able to lead the team to their next level, a lot of fans think that Snyder has the right approach and it’ll eventually pay off.
On top of that, this message from Young suggests that he wants to stay in Atlanta because he likes Snyder, which is another good sign.
The Hawks have been struggling, but they believe they are building something special, and they don’t want to pull the plug on it now.
As for the Knicks, their hunt for a new coach continues, and fans are beginning to grow restless.
Many of them don’t understand why Thibodeau was fired in the first place, and now they are unhappy because the Knicks are having a tough time getting someone new in his place.

Knicks fans may be unhappy with the current situation, but fans of other teams, such as the Hawks, are pleased to see them flounder and fall short.
