Former Arizona Cardinals left tackle D.J. Humphries signs with the Rams

Former Cardinals left tackle D.J. Humphries has agreed to a deal with the Los Angeles Rams, according to his agency.

Humphries goes to Los Angeles after appearing in two games with the Kansas City Chiefs this past season. He signed with Kansas City after completing his rehab from a torn ACL suffered late in 2023, the lineman’s final season with Arizona.

Before his deal with the Rams, it was reported the 31-year-old had agreed to sign with the San Francisco 49ers this past April. The deal fell through, with Humphries remaining a free agent.

Humphries now joins an L.A. offensive line that ranked 14th last season, per Pro Football Focus.

D.J. Humphries’ tenure in Arizona

A 2015 first-round pick (No. 24 overall), Humphries climbed up the ranks and eventually became the Cardinals’ anchor at left tackle.

The lineman made 98 starts for Arizona across eight seasons with the franchise.
