The Pittsburgh Steelers have had some troubled players in the Mike Tomlin era, with many proving to be completely ungovernable after leaving the Steelers’ organization. Perhaps the best example of this is wide receiver Antonio Brown, who has found himself in some serious trouble this time.
“Antonio Brown is wanted for attempted murder with a firearm,” reported Pro Football Talk on Twitter on Thursday evening.
Fans reacted to the shocking news on social media.
“Didn’t he just say he should be back on the Steelers?! lol it’ll never happen. His crash out will be studied for generations. Could’ve went down as Top 5 all-time,” one fan wrote on Twitter, lamenting the waste of talent after Brown self-sabotaged his career.
“Knew this was coming. Can’t chase someone down after the threat is over and shoot at them. It’s no longer self defense,” one fan added.
“took the gun off of a security guard? easy indictment, put him away forever,” someone else wrote.
“I mean, we all knew that this was how it was going to end up, right? This was always the inevitable endpoint of that man’s descent into madness,” another fan added.
Hopefully, Brown gets the help that he needs and is fully rehabilitated.
