Manchester United are chasing a new goalkeeper this summer and could raid Ineos-owned OGC Nice for Marcin Bulka’s signature.
Manchester United fans want to see new attackers arrive this summer and we have already seen one new face arrive at Old Trafford.
Matheus Cunha has joined United from Wolverhampton Wanderers, arriving to play as a number 10 under Ruben Amorim.
United are exploring other areas to improve, though, and Amorim may be looking to add a new goalkeeper.
Reports ahead of the January transfer window suggested Amorim wanted to bring in two stoppers to overhaul his goalkeeping ranks.
That didn’t happen in January, but Altay Bayindir is expected to leave United and that could pave the way for a new signing.

Marcin Bulka on Angel Di Maria’s Manchester United view
United are now interested in signing Marcin Bulka in a potential raid on Ineos-owned OGC Nice.
The Polish stopper is out of contract in 2026 and United could launch a bargain move this summer.
More United News
Bulka has been outstanding for Nice, fulfilling the potential that saw him earn moves to Chelsea and Paris Saint-Germain as a youngster.
During Bulka’s time at PSG, he crossed paths with a former United flop in Angel Di Maria.
United signed Di Maria from Real Madrid in 2014, only to sell him on to PSG just a year later.
Di Maria never really settled in Manchester and he made his view on United absolutely clear to Bulka.
“Di Maria hates Manchester United,” Bulka told Foot Truck. ‘He has no good memory of the time he spent there.
“In fact, when something related to Manchester United appears on television, he changes the channel quickly,” he added.
Di Maria’s United nightmare ended nearly 10 years ago now, but Bulka only joined PSG four years after the Argentinian.
That just goes to show how long Di Maria’s displeasure with United lasted, with Bulka hearing all about how much the winger disliked his time at Old Trafford.
We can only hope that Bulka’s opinion on a move to United isn’t in any way influenced by what Di Maria told him.
Bulka will have surely seen United’s poor Premier League campaigns in the last two seasons, but we hope he can see himself being a part of the turnaround, rather than believing he should move elsewhere.
Why Marcin Bulka left Chelsea
A move to United would see Bulka return to English football.
Chelsea signed Bulka at the age of just 16, luring him over from Poland as a talent for the future.
After failing to make a first-team appearance for Chelsea, Bulka departed West London for a move to PSG in 2019.
Bulka told TVP Sport in Poland that Chelsea failed to fulfil promises given to him about potential playing time in West London.
After a loan move away was also blocked, Bulka decided to quit – and believed he would not regret turning his back on the Blues.
“I left Chelsea not only because of Kepa, but there were also a few other aspects that we talked about after the pre-season last year and which were not fulfilled,” said Bulka.
“What I was told only came true to a few per cent. We didn’t quite get along. I wanted to go on loan, but I wasn’t let go either. That’s what I chose and we’ll see if I regret it or not, but I don’t think I will. I thought about this decision for a long time and I chose that after the season my contract would expire and I would become a free agent,” he added.
Bulka has certainly kicked on and become a top goalkeeper in France, with his form potentially handing him a return to English football.
Bulka has developed brilliantly with the benefit of first-team football in France, though it’s unclear whether United would offer him that same opportunity.
Andre Onana is hardly safe and secure in the United goal, and Bulka may be the kind of signing to come in as second choice but eventually work his way into the starting XI for the foreseeable future.
