The upcoming summer transfer window is shaping up to be a fascinating one, with heavyweights like Liverpool, Manchester United, Manchester City and Arsenal all set to splash the cash. However, an often overlooked aspect is the potential departures from these clubs.

Players such as Marcus Rashford, Jadon Sancho and Jack Grealish are all tipped to be shown the exit door by their respective teams this summer. The trio, along with Kyle Walker and Raheem Sterling, currently find themselves out of favour.

Despite expectations of a summer move, concrete interest in these players has been sparse so far. Most have also been omitted from their team's squads for the Club World Cup.

This is a clear indication that their futures lie elsewhere. Their current clubs, United, City and Chelsea, will be hoping that interested parties step up their pursuit once the second transfer window opens.

The window opens on Monday and runs until the summer deadline day on 1 September. Here, Mirror Football examines the future of the England quintet and where they might end up, reports the Mirror.

Marcus Rashford - Barcelona.

Topping the list is Marcus Rashford, who has had a falling out with United manager Ruben Amorim. There seems to be no future for the Englishman at Old Trafford, having spent the latter half of the season on loan at Aston Villa.

While Villa have the option to buy him for £40m, they haven't activated it yet. It seems unlikely they will, while United would accept a similar offer from any interested party.

However, Rashford's gaze is firmly fixed on La Liga champions Barcelona. He has already engaged in discussions with the Spanish side, who are on the hunt for a new forward this summer.

If he holds out until the final weeks of the window, he may well secure his dream move to Catalonia.

Jadon Sancho - Borussia Dortmund.

Since his high-profile transfer to Manchester United, Jadon Sancho's career has taken a nosedive. Chelsea even forked out a £5m penalty to send him back to Old Trafford at the end of his loan spell this season.

There aren't many clear-cut destinations for the winger. One team believed to be interested is Borussia Dortmund, where Sancho first made his mark.

A third stint back in Germany currently seems the most probable.

Kyle Walker - Saudi Pro League.

Kyle Walker's time at the top level appears to be winding down, with the 34 year old having been omitted from Manchester City's squad for the Club World Cup. He spent the latter half of the season at AC Milan.

However, it seems unlikely that the Italian side will make his move permanent. He could potentially join a Premier League side lower down the pecking order.

There's also a chance he could find himself with the Saudi Pro League as his only option.

Jack Grealish - Newcastle.

While Walker is short on potential suitors, Jack Grealish has several teams vying for his signature. Grealish's form has plummeted since winning the treble and he has fallen out of favour with Pep Guardiola.

Former clubs Aston Villa and Everton have been mentioned in connection with Grealish, but he may prefer to stay with a Champions League side, potentially linking up with Eddie Howe at Newcastle.

Raheem Sterling - Fenerbahce.

The future of another English player, Raheem Sterling, is also uncertain. It's clear that he will be leaving Chelsea, as Blues manager Enzo Maresca has stated he won't be utilising Sterling.

A return to Arsenal is off the cards and it's difficult to envision a Premier League club that would sign him. Having already turned down a move to the Saudi Pro League, Turkish outfit Fenerbahce are emerging as unexpected favourites.

A stint in Turkey seems likely for Sterling.
