Former Wolves ace Matheus Cunha has already proven why he is the perfect fit for Ruben Amorim after one point that he made after his Manchester United transfer.
Matheus Cunha has become a Manchester United player on Thursday after the Red Devils confirmed that they had officially signed the former Wolves star.
United announced that Cunha would leave Wolves earlier this month after the Red Devils triggered the £62.5m release clause in his contract at the Molineux.
However, the Red Devils were forced to wait to make the transfer official after United’s deal for Cunha was subject to his visa and medical requirements.
Cunha cleared both of the aforementioned hurdles and the 26-year-old Brazilian attacker inked a five-year contract with United after his exit from Wolves.
The Wolves ace impressed at the Molineux last season and Cunha scored a superb 17 times in 36 matches across all competitions for his former Premier League side.

What former Wolves star Matheus Cunha said after his Man Utd move will be music to the ears of Ruben Amorim at Old Trafford
Matheus Cunha has been away on international duty in June after the ex-Wolves star was called up to the Brazil national team for his country’s World Cup qualifiers.
The new Red Devils signing played under Brazil manager Carlo Ancelotti and Cunha impressed Manchester United fans with his superb performance against Paraguay.
Cunha is tipped to play a key role in Amorim’s tactical system for United and the Brazil star is likely to take up a position in the left-sided No 10 role in the formation.
Amorim was left frustrated with United’s woeful form under him last season and the former Sporting CP manager watched the Red Devils appear toothless at times.
Cunha has already shown his versatility with Brazil and the United new boy has high expectations placed on his shoulders after he completed the move to Old Trafford.
Speaking after his United transfer was completed, the Brazil international shared with United fans where his “focus” is now placed with the Red Devils.
“All my focus is now on working hard to become a valuable part of the team, and helping get this club back to the top,” he told Manchester United’s official website.

Why Ruben Amorim knows Matheus Cunha understands his assignment at Old Trafford after Man Utd player left Wolves
Amorim claimed that he would have been ready to walk from United if he felt that he didn’t have the right support and he has been cut-throat with his comments.
The 40-year-old United manager has remained true to his philosophy and the blueprint of his tactical system by refusing to pivot amid any kind of criticism.
Cunha’s desire to become a “valuable part of the team” would have struck a chord with Amorim, who values his side as the sum of their parts over individual talent.
Amorim echoed Cunha’s sentiments in his very first interview as United manager after he left Sporting CP last November and arrived in the Old Trafford dugout.
“In one word: team,” he told MUTV in 2024, as per Manchester United’s official website.
“The team is the most important thing for me.”
Amorim added: “If you work as a team, then the talent individually is going to shine.
“But if I have to explain the importance of everything, it is the character – the way we fight, the way we play, and we must have an identity. We have to.
“If our players take the shirt, they will know that it is the Manchester United team.
“Everybody thinks the same – running back, playing, enjoying [it]. This is what drives me. I can say the popular thing, which is to win.
“Everybody wants to win and I want to win with my players, with the fans but with an identity and one idea, that is the thing that I am focused on all the time.”
It’s safe to say that Cunha understands the United head coach even before he has kicked the ball as a Red Devils player.
