The summer break will be a good time for Everton fans to assess their transfer targets this summer.
To help with this, the EURO under-21 tournament has kicked off in Slovakia with David Moyes keeping a keen eye, no doubt.
The Friedkin Group have an array of young talent in their sights for this summer, with Everton potentially taking the approach of exciting prodigies.
Liverpool’s Jarrell Quansah is linked as, although controversial, he could make for a solid centre-back signing.
Quansah started England’s opener in the tournament, and the media have assessed the Everton target’s performance.

With the tournament bringing an opportunity for these starlets to create a platform, England kicked off their proceedings with a bang.
The young Three Lions beat Czech Republic 3-1 as Quansah started alongside former Leeds United defender Charlie Creswell, as Everton aren’t the only ones interested in Quansah.
U21 manager and former Everton player Lee Carsley oversaw the squad in their triumph, and the media gave a solid assessment of Quansah.

Outlet, GOAL, weighed in on how the 22-year-old fared, saying: “The more commanding of the centre-back duo, though he will be unhappy with how the Young Lions dealt with dead balls.
“Broke the lines with a couple of mazy dribbles in the second half. 6/10.”

Everton target James McAtee disappointed for England
With Quansah making a good impression on Moyes, another target, James McAtee, also played.
The Man City midfielder looks set to leave the club as McAtee was left out the Club World Cup, hence why he’s featuring in this year’s EURO tournament.
McAtee grabbed an assist for Harvey Elliott’s opener as the City man played a quick cut-back to the Liverpool star.
However, despite the contribution, the English outlet wasn’t too kind to McAtee as opposed to Quansah.
“Asked to help lead the line, but looked more comfortable when he was able to drop into midfield or move out wide,” they said.
“Got the assist for Elliott’s goal, but didn’t offer enough otherwise. 5/10.”
With McAtee preferring a move to Germany, Evertonians might not be too fussed after watching last night’s poor showing, but Moyes might begin to increase interest in Quansah.
