Liverpool forward Darwin Nunez is ‘guaranteed’ to leave the club this summer, journalist Fabrizio Romano has revealed.
The Uruguayan striker is reportedly nearing the end of his three-year spell at Anfield, with Liverpool aiming to replace him with a new number nine to lead Arne Slot’s frontline next season.
Saudi Pro League clubs have been keen on Nunez since the January transfer window, and the 25-year-old remains open to both European and Saudi options this summer.
Napoli have also made contact regarding Nunez’s availability in recent days and are said to have placed him on their striker shortlist, with further talks expected to follow soon.

Romano, writing on X, revealed that Nunez is certain to depart Liverpool amid growing interest from Saudi clubs and Napoli:
Nunez has struggled for regular minutes under Slot this season, making just eight Premier League starts and a further five in the Champions League.
The 'world-class' Uruguayan has managed seven goals and seven assists in 47 appearances across all competitions and last scored for the Reds on March 8 in their 3-1 win over Southampton.
Liverpool are believed to be eyeing several potential replacements for Nunez next season, including their ‘dream’ target Alexander Isak from Newcastle.
The Reds have parted ways with Trent Alexander-Arnold this summer and could soon offload winger Federico Chiesa, who is reportedly keen on a return to Italy.
