The NBA offseason is right around the corner and many expect it to be one full of moves by many different teams.
One team that is expected to make some moves this summer is the Orlando Magic after they fell below expectations this season due to injuries plaguing their roster.
Of course, the Magic saw Paolo Banchero, Franz Wagner and Jalen Suggs all miss extended periods of time due to injuries, which led to their poor season as they were eliminated by the Boston Celtics in five games in the first round of the playoffs.

Now the Magic enter the offseason where they are reportedly looking to make a major move and they have been linked to a former Golden State Warriors champion.
According to Bovada, the Magic are the favorites (+550) to land Washington Wizards star and former Warriors champion Jordan Poole this offseason.
They are followed by the Sacramento Kings (+600), Milwaukee Bucks (+700) and New Orleans Pelicans (+750).
Of course, Poole played his first four seasons in the NBA with the Warriors where he helped them win a championship in 2022.

Golden State then traded Poole to the Wizards in 2023 where they received Chris Paul, a trade that did not work out too well for the Warriors.
Since being traded, Poole has turned into a solid player in Washington and he is coming off a season where he averaged 20.5 points, 3.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists and 1.3 steals per game while shooting 43.2% from the field and 37.8% from three.
Poole is known for his scoring abilities and there is no doubt that he would be a massive upgrade to Orlando’s backcourt if they were to acquire him.

The Magic have struggled offensively over the last few seasons but that could change if they were to add Poole as he would give them another reliable scorer next to Banchero and Wagner while also giving them a solid three-point shooter.
Despite this, the Magic could look elsewhere to upgrade their roster this offseason as they are expected to make a major move to better their title odds next season.
