AD FEATURE: Arsenal tipped to complete three transfers with£84.4m striker and new midfielder

Arsenal face a huge summer transfer window as they look to end their silverware drought and close the considerable gap to reigning Premier League champions Liverpool.

Mikel Arteta's side ended the 2024/25 campaign in second but 10 points behind Arne Slot's men. The Gunners also reached a first Champions League semi-final since 2009 but fell to eventual winners Paris Saint-Germain over two legs.

It means Arsenal have yet to taste silverware success since winning the 2020 FA Cup, with pressure growing on Gunners boss Arteta to deliver a major trophy. The Gunners will know that one or two signings could make a huge difference next season and help silence some of Arteta's doubters.

Below, football.london has examined the deals Arsenal could complete before the end of the transfer window, taking a look at the latest transfer odds from bet365.

Ins

Rodrygo

It is becoming a curious case for Real Madrid attacker Rodrygo with his future remaining unclear at the Bernabeu. Arsenal are reportedly among the clubs interested but it is expected that any fee to land the Brazilian would be significant.

Arsenal lead the odds for the 24-year-old's next club (4/1) ahead of Premier League rivals Manchester City at 12/1 and Chelsea at 25/1. But he is still odds-on to stay in the Spanish capital at the short odds of 1/4.

**football.london writer Tom Coley says:**This one is looking unlikely for now with the forward appearing likely to stay in Madrid this summer, despite Arsenal's understandable reported interest.

Viktor Gyokeres

Arsenal are battling to sign a new striker, and one of the names on the market is Sporting CP star Viktor Gyokeres. Manchester United are also said to be interested in the Sweden international's services, in a move that would see the 27-year-old reunite with Ruben Amorim.

The Gunners are now odds-on favourites to sign the former Coventry man, at 10/11, with Man United now at 7/4 with bet365.

football.london writer Tom Coley says: Gyokeres has been on the radar of multiple European clubs for a while. His goalscoring record speaks for itself.

However, at 27, there are questions over how Gyokeres will adapt to English football having dominated against weaker opposition in Portugal. If Arsenal don't get him, someone else surely will.

Victor Osimhen

Victor Osimhen could be a player who ends Arsenal's search for attacking reinforcements. The Nigerian is facing immense speculation over his future, and his position at Napoli is uncertain.

He is said to have turned down a move to Saudi Arabia, but the odds provided by bet365 paint a bleak picture for Arsenal's (16/1) chances, with Galatasaray leading the chase at 9/4.

**football.london writer Tom Coley says:**Osimhen has continually been linked with a move to the Premier League. Is this the summer that he finally arrives in England, and could that be at the Emirates? It looks more likely he'll remain in Turkey, but it looks to be one to keep an eye on.

Outs

William Saliba

Arsenal have reportedly put a £85m price tag on Saliba's shoulders, but that is unlikely to ward off Real Madrid, should they wish to sign him this summer.

With two years left on his current contract, any move from Madrid this summer would be something of an ultimatum to Arsenal who cannot afford to let the French defender enter the final year of his contract without any advance on a new deal.

football.london writer Tom Coley says: One of the best defenders in the league, Arsenal know they cannot afford to lose Saliba. They will be aiming to tie him down to a new contract like Gabriel Magalhaes, and that is about as good as any signing they could make this summer.

Oleksandr Zinchenko

Zinchenko was the subject of interest from AC Milan at the start of January as the Ukrainian has struggled to earn minutes this season - falling behind makeshift teenage left-back Myles Lewis-Skelly who has impressed. If Arteta was to recoup a significant chunk of the £30m he shelled out on Zinchenko in 2022 then his stay at the Emirates will come to a close.

football.london writer Tom Coley says: Unfortunately for Zinchenko, he has served his purpose at Arsenal. He elevated them into an established top four team and title contenders but has struggled for form and fitness across the past two years.

Arsenal have alternatives who are younger and more impactful. It is best for all parties to go their separate ways this summer.

Other potential signings

Some other potential additions that Arsenal could make this summer that bet365 has markets for include Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike who is priced at 16/1 to join the Gunners. Another No.9 linked is Aston Villa's Ollie Watkins, who is 9/2 with bet365 to join Arteta's team.

Athletic Bilbao's Nico Williams has been heavily linked in the past and he is priced at 10/1 with bet365 this summer.
