Simone Biles' Husband Jonathan Owens Reveals Change in Physical Appearance

Simone Biles has been a busy body of late. Last week, the celebrated Olympic gold-medalist was in Hong Kong for a speaking engagement at a major UBS investment conference.

Her husband, Jonathan Owens of the Chicago Bears, has also been preoccupied. The 29-year-old safety had a perfect attendance for Chicago's mandatory minicamp earlier this month, which is a considerable difference from how he skipped part of his team's training camp last year to support her wife in the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

This time around, Owens will be able to focus more on the campaign ahead as he looks to have another solid year with the Bears. As the preseason preparations begin to heat up, though, Owens decided to make a change in his physical appearance.

On Tuesday, the former Missouri Western State star took to Instagram to share a video showing his new haircut.

Owens shared a post from Houston, Texas-based barber Julian Diaz. The new do features a high skin fade, crisp and defined hairline and temple edges, geometric cornrow patterns and a small ponytail bun.

It's a different look from his hairstyle around a month ago, when Owens sported clean cornrow braids that were symmetrically sectioned.

Owens is looking fresh with his new do, which could be his chosen hairstyle for Chicago's upcoming training camp in mid-July. This will precede the Bears' preseason schedule, where they are set to face the Miami Dolphins (Aug. 10), the Buffalo Bills (Aug. 17) and the Kansas City Chiefs (Aug. 22).

Chicago's season officially gets underway on Sept. 8, when they host one of their biggest rivals, the Minnesota Vikings, at Soldier Field for Week 1.
