Man United are set to make some big moves in the summer window. They have now officially joined the race for young striker. The player is made available for €100 million in summer window.

Manchester United are keen to sign a new striker this summer. They are ready to let both Hojlund and Zirkzee leave. The former Serie A strikers have failed to impress at Old Trafford. Both of these are linked with a move back to Italy. This can generate funds for new striker at United.

Earlier, United wanted to sign Liam Delap. But, the 22 year old opted to join Chelsea instead. He was available for only £30 million in summer window. But, now the Red Devils will have to spend big. They have entered the race for another young striker who will cost very high.

The star in question here is Hugo Ekitike of Frankfurt. He too is 22 years old and had a great season currently. He scored 22 goals and picked 12 assists. Frankfurt have made it clear that they will sell Ekitike only if any club is willing to pay as high as €100 million for him.

According to Florian Plettenberg, United have now joined the race for Ekitike. They have made contact with Frankfurt in the last 48 hours. But, he also added that Liverpool and Chelsea are still keen to sign the 22 year old.

Chelsea are feeling the need of another striker due to inconsistency of Nicolas Jackson. In addition, Marc Guiu is very young and likely to depart on loan. On the other hand, Liverpool are planning to move-on from Darwin Nunez. They have Ekitike as one of the top striker targets this summer. This increases the possibility of Ekitike ending up at Premier League this summer.
