Liverpool's summer transfer window has already been full of drama with the next explosive update about to be confirmed. The ECHO understands that the Reds have agreed a £100m deal with Bayer Leverkusen for Florian Wirtz that could rise by a further £16m following add-ons.

This comes after his teammate in Germany, Jeremie Frimpong, had already agreed his arrival to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold who was unveiled as a Real Madrid player on Thursday. Georgian goalkeeper Giorgi Mamardashvili will be arriving soon following the exit of Caoimhin Kelleher to Brentford, while young shot stopper Armin Pecsi has also joined the Reds.

It may have been busy already for Liverpool this summer but it is predicted to get even busier before the window finally shuts on Monday, September 1 at 7pm. The ECHO has enlisted the help of Google's AI technology Gemini to predict how the summer transfer window shall culminate for the club.

It believes that a further ten deals, both ins and outs, are likely for the Premier League champions before the window closes. We have broken down what is expected below.

Outs

Darwin Nunez is named as the most likely player to exit the club by Gemini, considering his underwhelming stint on Merseyside to date. It has been claimed the Uruguayan has an open mind surrounding his future with moves to Saudi Arabia and to other clubs in Europe considered potential possibilities.

While it is said that he is 'guaranteed' to exit the club, fellow forward Diogo Jota is anticipated by AI to depart. It is thought that his injury concerns in recent months could force Liverpool to move on with a return to Wolverhampton Wanderers mentioned as a possibility now Matheus Cunha has joined Manchester United.

Jarell Quansah is currently being linked with Erik ten Hag's Leverkusen now the lines of communication have opened following the Wirtz deal. Meanwhile, Federico Chiesa is also mentioned as a player who could depart after failing to make a mark in his first season at Anfield.

Rounding off Gemini's predicted outgoings is Joe Gomez who has reportedly been offered to north east duo Sunderland and Newcastle United ahead of the new season. The centre-back remains down the pecking order under Arne Slot and AI tips him to depart this summer.

Ins

The AI predicted that Wirtz's move to Liverpool would be the next priority signing for the club and the ECHO confirmed that on Friday morning. Gemini also predicts that AFC Bournemouth's Milos Kerkez will join as the Reds plan their succession after Andy Robertson either departs or becomes a back-up option.

Having predicted that Nunez would leave, the technology suggested three options that Liverpool could replace him with at Anfield. Atletico Madrid striker Julian Alvarez was deemed as an option, despite the La Liga club being desperate to keep hold of their star forward.

Current Arsenal priority striker Benjamin Sesko was named as another option as RB Leipzig clearly hope to sell him after failing to reach the Champions League. Completing their potential striker targets is Eintracht Frankfurt's Hugo Ekitike who the Reds remain in the race for, according to journalist Florian Plettenberg.

It is understood that Liverpool would need to compete with Chelsea and United for his signature though. Finally, and deemed to be a lesser priority, is Sporting centre-back Goncalo Inacio who could be seen as an option to replace Virgil van Dijk in the future and would add further depth should Gomez leave this summer.
