Manchester United’s summer rebuild under Ruben Amorim continues to gather pace as the club prioritises bringing in a proven striker to lead the line next season.
With the transfer window reopening next week, United are actively exploring multiple options, including long-standing target Viktor Gyokeres from Sporting Lisbon.
However, recent developments have brought another key name back into focus.

Victor Osimhen, the Napoli forward who has consistently been linked with a move to Old Trafford, has reportedly turned down a lucrative move to Saudi Arabia.
Despite a staggering offer from Al-Hilal, Victor Osimhen has opted to remain in Europe and is believed to favour a move to the Premier League.
According to reports, Manchester United and Osimhen’s representatives have reopened discussions which originally began in May.
United remain interested in securing his signature and are exploring a possible deal that could cost around €75 million, including bonuses with a €12 million salary, as per Foot Mercato.

Napoli are said to be open to selling, although they would prefer a full cash offer.
United, working within financial limitations, could consider player-involved deals or structured payments to help meet the Italian club’s demands.
The 25-year-old striker is said to be enthusiastic about the idea of joining United, and views the club as the right next step in his career.
This comes despite United’s absence from European competition next season.
Osimhen’s preference for the Premier League is also thought to be a driving factor in his decision to reject approaches from Saudi Arabia, including interest from Galatasaray.
United, who struggled for goals last season, are determined to bring in a centre-forward capable of leading the attack from day one.
Victor Osimhen, with his strength, pace and eye for goal, is seen as an ideal fit for Amorim’s system.
While no deal is yet agreed, United’s pursuit is expected to intensify over the coming weeks.
If a move materialises, Osimhen could be one of the marquee signings of the summer and provide the firepower United desperately lacked during the previous campaign.
