Bryan Mbeumo has been the subject of conversation between Brentford and Tottenham - and the forward is now keen on a move to Spurs.
Earlier this month, Mbeumo had expressed his wish to join Manchester United. The Red Devils have already had a bid turned down for the winger, who netted 20 league goals last season. The Bees are asking for a £60million fee for the Cameroon international, with United reportedly preparing an improved bid.
However, the appointment of Thomas Frank at Tottenham as Ange Postecoglou's successor could persuade Mbeumo to reconsider. Following Frank's appointment as head coach, Mbeumo is reportedly more interested in a move across London.
He would have the opportunity to play in the Champions League in north London, which could give Tottenham a significant advantage.
Newcastle United had a bid for the highly sought-after star rejected in January and seem to have not pursued his signature this summer due to Mbeumo's wage demands for United. It was suggested that the attacker has been offered a salary that could reach £200,000-a-week.

Mbeumo has a year remaining on his contract with an option for an additional year, putting the Bees in a strong position to negotiate from. Brentford have already received £10m from Spurs as compensation for Frank.
The Dane's new side are said to only be willing to foot up £130,000-a-week with additional bonuses. But the draw of Frank and European football could yet prove crucial. Earlier this summer, Frank suggested top teams should be looking at Mbeumo given his successes last term, adding that it would only be fair for Brentford to receive a significant fee.
"It is clear that if he is to be sold, it must be for a nice, nice amount. It is a lot. Really a lot," he said. "Then it is clear that it is impossible to replace him one for one. It cannot be done.
"There is a reason why he costs x number of million pounds, and we do not have x number of million pounds to buy for."
He added: "I would say that I would be surprised if a lot of big clubs don't look at him. I would be surprised with what he has to offer.
