Reports have emerged suggesting that Arsenal and Bayern Munich are set to battle to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola.
The Gunners are likely to bring in a winger this summer, with the likes of Real Madrid’s Rodrygo, Athletic Bilbao’s Nico Williams and also Leroy Sane from Bayern.

Sane would be the cheapest option for them to sign as he is expected to become a free agent with his contract at Bayern Munich set to expire this month.
Signing a winger would help to ease some of the pressure on current Arsenal wingers Bukayo Saka and Gabriel Martinelli. Furthermore, Arsenal winger Leandro Trossard‘s contract is due to expire next summer, so the Gunners will need to find a replacement.
According to a report by Sky Sports Germany Journalist Florian Plettenberg, Bayern Munich are wanting to sign Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola, who is estimated to cost around £84 million.

It had previously been reported by Caught Offside, that Arsenal, Man City and Tottenham Hotspur have all scouted the French winger, and they are all keen to sign him this summer.
Barcola made 58 appearances for the Champions League winners this past season, scoring 21 goals and providing 19 assists. He was one of the most exciting wingers in Europe this season, and aged just 22, he can still improve moving forward.
Barcola is the most expensive Arsenal winger target
Despite the fact that the Frenchman has been superb this season, it is unlikely that Arsenal will sign him due to his very expensive £84m valuation, something that could be hard for the Gunners to meet.
Furthermore, the likes of a Leroy Sane wouldn’t cost the Gunners anything in regards to a transfer fee, with the wage demands expected to be the most difficult problem for signing Sane. He is currently on £280,000 per week at Bayern Munich.
Rodrygo is expected to command a transfer fee of around £68 million, which would be a hefty asking price for Arsenal to match too.
