Everton have set their sights on Brighton striker Evan Ferguson to reinforce their attack this summer transfer window.
The Toffees missed out as they looked to make Liam Delap the face of Hill Dickinson Stadium, but the former Ipswich Town centre-forward signed for Chelsea.
Villarreal striker Thierno Barry has emerged as an option for the Blues, with a bid in excess of £25.4million reportedly being made recently.
Ferguson is another name on the Merseyside outfit’s radar, and they’ve been handed a boost in their pursuit of the Ireland international with 22 caps.

The new outlet reports (12 June) that the Toffees are among the clubs keeping an eye on the 22-year-old and want to sign him in the coming months.
Competition Appearances Goals
Premier League 21 1
Ferguson’s Premier League record with Brighton and West Ham this season.
David Moyes could lose Dominic Calvert-Lewin soon, with his current contract expiring at the end of June, and a replacement may be needed up front.
The Friedkin Group (TFG) should back the Scottish manager this season if the Blues want to push further up the table in the Premier League next season.

Moyes to get best out of Ferguson at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Armando Broja has returned to Chelsea after an underwhelming loan spell at Goodison Park.
Youssef Chermiti is another forward option for Moyes, but the 21-year-old has hardly featured for the Toffees due to his fitness issues.
The Blues undoubtedly lack a prolific goalscorer in their ranks, and TFG should make that their priority this summer transfer window.
Everton have seen the tide change since the Scottish manager’s return, and the American owners must ensure they keep the momentum going.
Moyes was able to win the UEFA Conference League title at West Ham United, and there’s no reason why he can’t lift silverware at the Toffees.
Ferguson showed a lot of potential at Brighton under Roberto De Zerbi, but he has struggled in recent months, with an arguably disappointing loan spell at the Hammers.
The Scottish manager has shown that he’s capable of bringing the best out of young prospects over the years, and a move to the Merseyside outfit feels like the best thing for the Irish striker.
How the 20-year-old’s situation at the Seagulls will unfold in the coming weeks remains to be seen.
