Chelsea have made one 25 year old star available for sale. Recently, there were reports that the Blues might keep the player after impressing in recent season. But a new twist has occured in the story and one Premier League club is already plotting a summer move.

The star in question here is Trevoh Chalobah. He is 25 year old English defender who has came up through Chelsea’s academy. The player played some really good games for the Blues but then started to fall down the pecking order. As a result, he was sent on loan to Crystal Palace last summer.

But, Chelsea recalled Chalobah from loan in January. They felt need of defender due to injury issues. The 25 year old then performed really well for them. This even earned him debut for England national team although it didn’t went as per the plans.

Chelsea were said to keep hold of Chalobah this summer. It was reported that they may prefer to sell other players over him. The player is also keen to stay at Stamford Bridge. He wants to fight for his spot and establish himself as a key player for his boyhood club.

Chelsea keen to sell Trevoh Chalobah this summer

According to Teamtalk, the Blues are keen to sell Chalobah despite his wish to stay at Stamford Bridge. They are planning to bring in some top defenders. Chalobah along with multiple others like Veiga and Disasi are made available by them. Luckily, Chalobah still has interest from Premier League side.

According to the report, Crystal Palace are keen to sign Chalobah. They are impressed with the 25 year old since his half season loan in 2024/25 season. In addition, they need to replace Marc Guehi who is set to leave the FA Cup champions.

Guehi is in final year of his contract. He has opted against signing extension. As a result, Palace are open to selling him to avoid losing him for free. As of now, he is top target of Chelsea. It will be interesting to see if the both clubs agree a swap deal including Guehi and Chalobah.
