The Bucs announced nine training camp dates open to fans today, and three of those will be available to the masses and will not require a connection to a special interest group.
Last year, it was only two practices avaialble to the average Joes. In 2023, it was just one practice. In 2022, it was zero.
This year’s sessions for the general public are the first two practices of the summer, Thursday, July 24 at 8:30 a.m. at One Buc Palace, followed by the same schedule for Friday, July 25.
The third and final practice open to the general public will take place on Friday, August 1, and will again feature a post-practice kids autograph line. Additionally, guests from the Special Olympics will have the opportunity to participate in post-practice drills with the players.
Six sessions are reserved for season ticket holders, corporate partners and other select groups.
Training camp for fan viewing ends with a joint practice against the Tennessee Titans on Thursday, August 7.
Fans can head to Buccaneers.com to get info on registering for a ticket to practice. (Yes, you’ll need a ticket.)
Bucs chief operating officer Brian Ford issued a statement talking about how much he loves fans at training camp.
The Bucs’ first full-contact practice in pads will be Tuesday, July 29, inside the air conditioned Glazer Shed.
