AEW Dynamite saw a decrease in viewership on June 11 for the first half of their Summer Blockbuster special as it went head-to-head with game 3 of the NBA Finals.
According to Wrestlenomics, 597,000 viewers watched the show on Wednesday night, and it drew a 0.17 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The viewership is down from last week’s episode, when 655,000 viewers tuned in. The demo slightly dropped from last week‘s episode, which drew a 0.18 rating in the same demographic.

What happened on AEW Dynamite: Summer Blockbuster this week?
This week’s show kicked off with a match between Will Ospreay and Swerve Strickland that ended in a 30-minute time limit draw.
CMLL’s Mistico defeated Blake Christian. Afterward, MJF challenged him to a match next week at Grand Slam Mexico.
In women’s action, TayMelo defeated Megan Bayne and Penelope Ford in tag team action.
In the closing segment of the evening, Kenny Omega and Kazuchika Okada signed the contract for their Winner Take All match at All In: Texas. It ended with Okada aligning with Don Callis.
