Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur are both in the race for Brentford star Bryan Mbeumo.
The Red Devils have been keen to sign the Bees star for a while now, and the player has also shown interest in a move to Old Trafford.
TBR Football revealed earlier this week that Manchester United were closing in on Mbeumo – but Tottenham now have an ace up their sleeve.
Spurs have just appointed Thomas Frank as their manager, and Mbeumo worked wonders under the Dane at the GTech Community Stadium.
Sky Sports journalist Dharmesh Sheth has now given an update on the Mbeumo situation, including what has left him “more intrigued” and who he’s “leaning towards”.

Bryan Mbeumo ‘still leaning’ towards Manchester United – but there’s a catch
Sheth, speaking on Sky Sports News, claimed that Mbeumo is still slightly more in favour of a move to Old Trafford.
However, Spurs appear to have caught his attention by virtue of now having Frank at the helm.
Sheth, quoting Sky Sports News sources, said: “As it stands, Bryan Mbeumo is still leaning towards Manchester United”.
The journalist then said Man United are expected to go back in with a fresh offer for the Brentford forward.
The Red Devils had a £55million bid rejected for Mbeumo, with Brentford valuing the Cameroon international at more than £60million.
Meanwhile, Tottenham are said to have held initial discussions with Brentford about a deal for Mbeumo.
The 26-year-old is understood to be “more intrigued” by a move to Tottenham now that Frank, his former manager at Brentford, has become their head coach.

What Thomas Frank has said about Bryan Mbeumo as stats highlight his qualities
Mbeumo has made a real name for himself as one of the Premier League’s most exciting forwards in recent seasons.
“Unbelievable at penalties, assists, work ethic,” Frank previously said of Mbeumo, as per Chronicle Live. “An unbelievable player.”
Last season was especially fruitful for Mbeumo, who registered 20 goals and eight assists in the Premier League – and he was also outstanding off the ball.
Last term, Mbeumo was the only player to notch four figures in terms of off-the-ball runs, registering 1,037 runs.
Mbeumo also covered 387.6km in the league, putting him third behind Daniel Munoz (389.5 km) and Bruno Guimaraes (420.0 km).
In addition, Mbeumo made the top spot for off-the-ball runs made at sprinting speed (389) and took third place for total sprints (870).
