The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are employing their fourth different offensive coordinator in as many seasons, but not because they've failed.
It's because they've thrived.
After the last two OCs had left for greener pastures as head coaches, Josh Grizzard was elevated to lead the unit in 2025.
It's early in the offseason, and the workouts haven't been intense. It's basically flag football during OTAs and mandatory minicamp. But Bucs offensive tackle Luke Goedeke already sees things in the offensive line that makes him believe the unit will be stronger than ever under Grizzard in 2025.
"I feel like the sky is the limit for our O-line and our offense as a whole," Goedeke said after minicamp wrapped up on Thursday. "I'd like to see our offense as the best O-line and best offense in the National Football League. That's the goal among every team, but I would say we're definitely a team [where] that's definitely achievable. Everyone strives for that and that's great and everything, but I think the Bucs, here, as we stand today, they're in a good spot to achieve that this year."
Bucs insider JP Peterson with Fan Stream Sports - Tampa Bay thinks Grizzard will bring sustained continuity this season.
"It’s clear the players have extreme confidence in Grizzard," Peterson said. "To a man, they all talk about his intelligence, communication skills and how he’s pushing the ball down the field aggressively. A bit of return to the [former coach Bruce] Arians' mantra of 'No risk it … No biscuit!'"
