Everything you need to know about Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium and how to get to the venue.

The Emirates Stadium has been Arsenal’s home since 2006, with the venue opening after two years of construction to take over from the famous old Highbury. The 60,704-seater stadium was state of the art when it opened, and it remains one of the best stadiums in Europe with a four-star UEFA rating.

Arsenal paid £390 million to create their current home, and it is regularly packed out, with the record attendance being set in 2019 during a November Premier League clash with Wolves. As many as 60,383 tickets were sold for that game, leaving just over 300 unsold seats in total. The Emirates Stadium is home not only to Arsenal but Arsenal Women, who confirmed in June that all future WSL home games would be played at the Stadium. Join us below as we run you through what you need to know about the Emirates Stadium experience.

The four ends of the Emirates Stadium are the Clock End, East Stand, North Bank and West Stand. Each stand has four seating categories, including the Upper Tier, Lower Tier, Executive Box Level and Club Level.

Each of those categories is priced differently for both single game and season ticket options. Match tickets also vary based on the category of fixtures, with three categories of fixtures based on the opponents. A full guide to Arsenal’s ticket prices can be found here.

How to get to the Emirates Stadium

The nearest London Underground station to the Emirates Stadium is Holloway Road, which is on the Piccadilly line. The station is just a few minutes by foot from the stadium but can only be used for arrival before the game. It is closed after the game.

You can also get to the Emirates Stadium by using the following stations: Arsenal (Piccadilly Line), Finsbury Park (Victoria Line, Piccadilly Line, Great Northern Rail) and Highbury & Islington (Victoria Line, North London Line, Great Northern Rail). All of those stations are between five and 15 minutes from the stadium by foot.

To take the overground train to the Emirates Stadium, there is a train that runs from London Kings Cross to Finsbury Park Railway Station, which is around 10 minutes from the stadium. Drayton park Station is not an option for most games because it is closed on weekends.

If you are travelling to the Emirates Stadium by car, you should leave the M1 at Junction 2 and take the A1 for around six miles. Take the first left at the traffic lights after Holloway Road Tube Station and after joining Hornsey Road, the Emirates Stadium is around 450 yards away. The postcode for the stadium is N5 1BU.

Parking at the Emirates Stadium

Like many London stadiums, the Emirates Stadium offers little street parking due to resitents-only restrictions. It is recommended to park further away from the ground and catching a tube to the stadium.

Season ticket holders have access to parking that can be booked on a game-by-game or seasonal basis. Within this parking, there are 100 accessibility spaces set aside for blue badge holders, but these too must be booked in advance via the official channels.
