Moyes can surely get the best out of Barry at Hill Dickinson Stadium
Moyes is prioritising Barry to bolster Everton’s attacking options as the club prepares for a transformative move to their new Hill Dickinson Stadium.
The 6ft 4in Villarreal striker brings a potent blend of physicality, goal-scoring prowess, and youth at 22.
Barry’s 11 goals in 35 La Liga games last season demonstrate his ability to perform in a top league, while his 20 goals in 41 appearances for Basel highlight his consistent scoring record.
His height and aerial ability address Everton’s need for a dominant focal point in attack, complementing Moyes’ tactical emphasis on structured build-up and set-piece strength.
Additionally, the 22-year-old’s four assists at Villarreal show his capacity to link play, adding versatility.
With Moyes having improved Everton’s scoring since replacing Dyche, Barry’s signing aligns with his vision to create a dynamic, competitive squad for the club’s new era.
