Ruben Amorim is being backed by Manchester United despite his difficult debut season.
The Red Devils finished 15th in the Premier League table last term and also suffered a defeat in the Europa League final against Tottenham Hotspur.
One of the biggest stories following that game in Bilbao was surrounding Alejandro Garnacho and his future at the club.

Ruben Amorim has been very clear about the kind of players he wants at Manchester United.
The Portuguese tactician first expressed concerns about Marcus Rashford, and the attacker was pushed out on loan in the January transfer window.
There were problems between Garnacho and Amorim too back then, but that was resolved, and the Argentine ended up staying at the club.
Then, following the Europa League final, reports have revealed that Amorim told Garnacho in front of all his teammates that he should look for a new club.
Now, GiveMeSport have claimed that clubs are refusing to meet Manchester United’s £70 million asking price for Garnacho because of Amorim’s stance.
Interested sides know that United will have to get rid of him, which is why they aren’t even ready to pay £50 million for the player’s signature.
Amorim singling out Garnacho is said to have weakened United’s position in transfer negotiations, and the report claims that they could now have to offer a discount of £20 million or more to part ways with their Argentine winger.

Sir Jim Ratcliffe has been working hard to save money at Manchester United since his arrival.
There have been several controversial decisions made on that front already, so the last thing he needs now is to lose even more money.
However, the Garnacho situation could cost him and Manchester United upwards of £20 million if clubs continue to refuse to pay even £50 million for a player whose actual valuation stands at £70 million.
That is a headache that Ratcliffe could’ve done without, but he needs to find a way to end this situation, as the longer it drags on, the more problems it will cause.
