Chicago Bulls wing Matas Buzelis has stepped into a new role—this time off the court. After wrapping up his rookie season in Chicago, the 20-year-old American-Lithuanian served as a special correspondent during Game 4 of the 2025 NBA Finals on Friday night.

Buzelis, an NBA All-Rookie Second Team member, is part of a special NBA program featuring young players providing behind-the-scenes coverage directly for the league's social and digital platforms.
The program aims to give young players valuable media experience, preparing them for opportunities beyond their playing careers. And for Buzelis, that transition was a little smoother thanks to a high-tech assist.
During the finals, Buzelis wore a discreet device throughout his sideline duties. He was spotted wearing what turned out to be Pulsetto—a wearable designed to ease stress, sharpen focus, and support sleep.
"It's a vagus-nerve stimulator," the brand ambassador Buzelis explained. "Domantas [Sabonis] recommended it, and my training crew swears by it. A quick session helps us recover faster, sleep better, and lock in focus. I'll admit, I was a bit nervous before my debut, so Pulsetto kept me grounded."
It's understandable why. Buzelis was just one of four this year's correspondents:
Jared McCain (Philadelphia 76ers) – Game 1
Jaime Jaquez Jr. (Miami Heat) – Game 2
Dyson Daniels (Atlanta Hawks) – Game 3
Matas Buzelis (Chicago Bulls) – Game 4
Each correspondent got a front-row view of the biggest games of the year.
"It's been intense basketball, every game feels like an all-star showdown," Buzelis said of the NBA Finals. "The level of play, the rivalries, the atmosphere -- it's everything you dream of when you grow up a hoops fan."
Previous program participants include current NBA stars like CJ McCollum, Scottie Barnes, Tyrese Maxey, Myles Turner, Donovan Mitchell, Deandre Ayton, Jaren Jackson Jr., Paolo Banchero, Jalen Williams, Walker Kessler, and Bennedict Mathurin.
