Manchester United kicked off their transfer window dealings by securing a deal for Matheus Cunha. The Brazilian international has now officially been unveiled as the latest addition to the Red Devils, but it's unlikely that the club's activity will stop there.
Ruben Amorim is set to inject some fresh blood into his squad when the transfer window swings open again on 16 June. The club are keen to bolster their head coach's attacking options and the overall team strength.
Old Trafford has already seen a number of players make their exit, with more potentially on the way out, including Casemiro, who faces a period of uncertainty as he enters the final year of his contract.
However, the summer won't be all smooth sailing, as the club has already missed out on Liam Delap to Chelsea, and player sales will be needed to raise funds for new signings. There's plenty of work ahead.
Here, the Daily Star Sport looks at the latest Man Utd transfer news.
Mbeumo U-turn
Bryan Mbeumo has expressed interest in a move to Tottenham and has been the subject of talks between Brentford and Spurs. Earlier this month, Mbeumo had voiced his desire to join Manchester United.

However, the appointment of Thomas Frank as Ange Postecoglou's successor in north London could sway Mbeumo. The 25-year-old is reportedly more interested in a move across London following Frank's appointment as head coach.
In a transfer twist that could raise the stakes higher, the Mirror reports that Frank has urged Tottenham to take on United for Mbeumo's signature. The Brentford talisman notched 20 goals last season and could step up to Champions League football at Spurs under his former boss.

Manchester United have reportedly joined Liverpool and Chelsea in the race to sign Eintracht Frankfurt striker Hugo Ekitike. After lighting up the 2024/25 season with 22 goals and 12 assists across 48 games, United are said to have enquired about striking a potential deal.
Despite intense speculation and talks, the German outfit remains staunch with their €100m (£85m) price tag on the 22-year-old sensation. "If the price isn't right, then he'll just stay with us," Frankfurt CEO Markus Krosche told Wiesbadener Kurier about Ekitike's future. "We don't have to sell Hugo."

Fresh from securing Matheus Cunha, United are reportedly plotting four additional signings to bolster their ranks. Eager for reinforcements, the Reds have set their sights on signing Mbeumo, another striker, a new midfielder, and a goalkeeper to complement Ruben Amorim's vision.
Old Trafford links with forwards Viktor Gyokeres and Victor Osimhen are generating interest, while plans to bring in a rival for Andre Onana between the sticks are in motion. With Christian Eriksen already leaving the club, and with Casemiro's future also uncertain, Amorim is keen to inject physical intensity into the team.
