Liverpool star Harvey Elliott could join West Ham this summer.
Graham Potter‘s side is crying out for creative talent in the transfer window after struggling to score goals last season.
The Hammers were the sixth-lowest scorers in the Premier League as the likes of Niclas Fullkrug and Evan Ferguson failed to make the required impact.
The 22-year-old has struggled for game time at Anfield, and a move to the London Stadium would give him a chance to become a star rather than a squad player.

West Ham to struggle in Elliott pursuit from Liverpool
Former Irons star Stuart Pearce tipped Elliott for a move to East London (9 June), and the Reds ace has since admitted that he may have to leave for the sake of his career.

However, iconic commentator Ian Darke told Liverpool News (14 June) that he believes that Arne Slot’s side will not be keen on losing the two-time Premier League-winning star.
He said: “I think he is a terrific player and I do understand his frustrations, he is not a kid anymore, where he doesn’t want to just be playing these cameo roles off the bench.
“I mean the cameo roles he has carried out to quite great effect at times, I witnessed the goal in Paris, against Paris Saint-Germain.
“The time has come for him to fly the nest, and I don’t think anybody should have any bad blood about it, and I’d perfectly understand if he was to turn up at West Ham, he has got to the point where he needs to be a regular starter in the Premier League.”
“I think he could (fit in at West Ham) from that right side, although I think Bowen is at his most effective off the right there, cutting in with his left foot, although he can play through the middle as well, or they can find a way of operating another way.
“I think if he does become available and Liverpool are prepared to (sanction a departure), I don’t think they would be that keen to let him go, if I am honest, he is too useful to have on the bench.
“I don’t think they would be in a tearing rush to let him go, but if he did go, I think there would be a queue of clubs that want to sign him.”
Elliott would be a great addition for West Ham
If the Hammers could tempt the Premier League champions to sell, it would be a great move, especially given the uncertainty over Lucas Paqueta’s future, with the FA hearing that is hanging over him.
Elliott is one of the most promising talents in the English game, and although he has struggled this season, he boasted some of the best creative numbers in the division in the 2023-24 campaign.
Injuries and the importance of Dominic Szoboszlai to Arne Slot’s side mean that he was restricted to just 360 minutes of league action this season, but he still managed to notch a goal and two assists.
He proved his quality at the elite level with a goal against eventual Champions League winners Paris Saint-Germain in a late cameo and still has plenty to offer at the top level.
The Hammers are desperate for more creativity, and if they could pull off a swoop for Elliott, it would be a real coup for Potter and Co.
Regular minutes under the former Brighton manager could kickstart his career, and the move would make sense for both parties if they can convince the Reds to sanction a deal.
