West Ham are hoping to take Djordje Petrovic and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall in exchange if Chelsea do make a concerted effort to sign Mohammed Kudus, according to The Telegraph ‘s Matt Law.
Speaking on the London Is Blue podcast, Law said that the two Blues players would be of interest to the Hammers, but any swap deal would be dependent on Graham Potter’s side lowering their valuation of Kudus:
“I think West Ham are interested in a few Chelsea players who might be allowed to leave, Petrovic could end up being one and potentially Dewsbury-Hall.”

“Chelsea would only be interested in that conversation and would only be interested if West Ham were selling at considerably lower than the £80m release clause.”
Petrovic and Dewsbury-Hall would fill two problem positions
The departure of Lukasz Fabianski and Alphonse Areola’s poor form means the Irons are on the lookout for a new No.1. Petrovic performed well out on loan at Strasbourg last season and he would be a decent addition in goal.
Potter has also identified the midfield as another area to improve. He is hoping to add more technically proficient players and Dewsbury-Hall would fit the criteria.
Will West Ham lower their asking price for Kudus?
Chelsea paid £14m for Petrovic a couple of years ago, while Dewsbury-Hall was brought in from Leicester City for £30m last summer so there is no doubt that the Irons will demand cash in addition to the two players.
The big question is: how much do they want for Kudus? As Law points out, £80m is not a figure Chelsea are willing to match so the Ghanaian international would have to be valued below that amount for a potential part-exchange to take place.
