Man Utd could be in for a busy summer and AI has predicted who Ruben Amorim could bring to Old Trafford.

Manchester United have started the transfer window at a frantic pace with Ruben Amorim being linked with players for every position and ever area of the squad.

The other key area is in the forward line which has seen an approach made for Viktor Gyokeres and links to Victor Osimhen continue to circulate as the Red Devils look for a striker who can drag their team to more victories next season.

It is going to be a busy window for Amorim and his recruitment team with AI predicting a net spend of some £120-150m and a spend of £200-250m in total on new signings, even then it might not be enough.

AI predicts who Man Utd could bring to Old Trafford this summer

With dozens of names being linked, this is who AI thinks could be paraded at Old Trafford this summer. Despite the names being linked, AI reckons that Lucas Chevalier could be the new United No.1 arriving from Lille for a fee of around £25m. At 23-years old he could be the long-terms solution to what has become a problem position in recent years.

If United are to climb their way back up the table, Amorim has to fix the defence. Joining Chevalier could be long-term target Ousmane Diomande, Sporting Lisbon’s towering centre-half who Amorim worked with previously.

AI has the 22-year old as a £50m signing and a player who will immediately provide cover for Lisandro Martinez. The forward line needs a lot of work but AI has claimed that a deal to sign Bryan Mbeumo is only a matter of time and that he would be the perfect fit for Amorim’s system. A fee of £50m would be enough to get Brentford to part ways which, if speculation is correct though, it is already less than what United are reported to have offered.

What strikers does AI predict Man Utd to sign?

United have struggled to score goals for some time and the signing of Rasmus Hojlund hasn’t worked out the way that many thought it might. AI has Amorim getting a lot more fire power with the addition of both Viktor Gyokeres and Jonathan David.

AI has set the fee at £63m which would still be a good deal in the modern market, as would a Bosman swoop for David who is out of contract at Lille and looking for a move to a bigger club.

Despite the absence of Champions League football, United still carries some sort of presence in Europe and the chance to lead the club back to the top could be a strong pull. David won’t be short of offers after 25 goals and 12 assists in France last season.

It’s going to be a busy summer for United and even though it is a long list of names with a lot of money spent, it might still not be enough. Only time will tell.
