Wolves have agreed personal terms with Celta Vigo star Fer Lopez as they look to replace Matheus Cunha, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Midlands club are preparing themselves for a busy summer transfer window after losing two key stars in the early part of the window, with Rayan Ait-Nouri signing for Man City and Cunha move to Man Utd in deals worth more than £100m combined.
Now manager Vitor Pereira is looking to bring in their replacements and rebuild the squad in his own image, and La Liga sensation Lopez has emerged as a top target for the attack.

Long-term contract agreed

21-year-old Lopez, who has been described as a 'unicorn' by journalist David Cartlidge for his unique skillset, has emerged as a top target for Wolves in the attacking midfield spot, and he has now agreed a long-term contract to move to Molineux this summer.
The playmaker has a €40m release clause in his contract with Celta, however, it's believed that agent Jorge Mendes has worked some 'magic' to get a deal done for less than that as the clubs continue to engage in talks.
There's no indication of how much a deal could cost, but Wolves are hopeful of getting a deal done before pre-season in order to help him settle.
Youngster Lopez had a breakthrough season in La Liga in 2024/25, making 17 appearances including seven starts for the Spanish outfit, scoring two goals.
While he may be looked at as someone to take Cunha's place in the squad, the chances of him living up to that level of performance are slim-to-none as he remains very raw and someone still in desperate need of development.
But Wolves can see his enormous potential and want to seal a deal for him quickly, while Pereira could look to add a more senior option to his squad later in the window.
