Darwin Nunez has been linked with a move away from Liverpool in recent months, and it appears that Al-Hilal have made contact with the Premier League champions regarding a move.
The 25-year-old has not been able to live up to the expectations since joining Liverpool, and his end product has been quite mediocre. The striker scored seven goals in all competitions last season, and Liverpool need to replace them in the summer.
They need a reliable centre forward if they want to win major trophies. Naturally, there has been speculation surrounding the future of the Uruguayan international. It remains to be seen whether he is ready to move to the Saudi Pro League this summer.
Al-Hilal keen on Liverpool ace
Al-Hilal are interested in him, and Ben Jacobs has confirmed that they have been in touch with Michael Edwards regarding a potential move. It will be interesting to see if they come forward with an offer to sign the player.

Liverpool paid a premium for him when they signed him from Benfica, and they would have expected him to develop into a world-class player. Things are clearly not going according to plan for the player in the Premier League, and he struggled for regular game time last season.
The 25-year-old will look to get his career back on track with regular football, and moving away from Liverpool could be ideal for him. He has been linked with a move to Italy and Spain as well. It remains to be seen where he ends up.
He has the qualities to develop into a top player. Perhaps a fresh start could bring out the best in him. He has been described as ‘unbelievable’ recently.
