Liverpool left-back Andy Robertson is a top target for Atletico Madrid amid Milos Kerkez's expected arrival at Anfield, according to Fabrizio Romano.
Robertson is "appreciated internally" at Atletico, although a deal could be difficult because he's still rated highly by the Reds. The 31-year-old has a year left on his contract, but he is now Diego Simeone's top target at left-back.
Liverpool are closing in on the signing of Bournemouth left-back Kerkez, which casts doubt over Robertson's game time next season. The Scot appeared 45 times under Arne Slot last season but the club have been under pressure to find a long-term replacement.

Atleti have a history of signing Premier League talent, most recently swooping for Julian Alvarez and Conor Gallagher. Newcastle United right-back Kieran Trippier was the first big-name player to swap English football for the Metropolitano, and Robertson could become the latest.
