Liverpool are set for a squad revamp this summer.
Indeed, Florian Wirtz and Milos Kerkez are set to join the Reds after the addition of Jeremie Frimpong, while some outgoings could also be on the horizon.
Luis Diaz has been linked with a move away, Darwin Nunez is set to leave the club, while Harvey Elliott could leave too.
With Kerkez set to arrive at left-back, many expected Kostas Tsimikas to be on the chopping block at Anfield, but now, it would appear Andy Robertson could be the player to leave at left-back as Atletico Madrid have suddenly emerged as contenders for his signature.

Robertson has never played outside of the UK before, and this would represent an exciting and different opportunity.
We’ve seen Premier League full-backs take this exact route before. Kieran Trippier headed to Atletico Madrid a few years ago to revive his career, while Matt Doherty also joined Diego Simeone’s side from Tottenham as he began a career downturn.

Players to play for Atletico Madrid and Liverpool
Robertson could be on his way to Madrid, and if he were to make this move, he’d be joining an illustrious list of players who have played for both Atletico Madrid and Liverpool.
Indeed, some of the best players in both clubs’ histories have played for both teams.
Players to play for Atletico Madrid and Liverpool
Luis Suarez
Fernando Torres
Maxi Rodriguez
Diogo Jota
Luis Garcia
Javi Manquillo
Emiliano Insua
Fernando Torres was a legend for both clubs, while Luis Suarez is also held in high regard both on Merseyside and in the Spanish capital.
Diogo Jota never got a game for Atletico Madrid, but he was on their books at one point, while Luis Garcia is a Liverpool icon in his own right.
Maxi Rodriguez was a fan favourite at Anfield at one point, while Javi Manquillo and Emiliano Insua are perhaps the least notable names on this list.
Robertson is a ‘clever’ player, and now he may well have a big decision to make on his Liverpool future here.
