Transfer news LIVE!

The second windows open on Monday - or the first window re-opens, depending on how you look at it - and could begin with a bang after Liverpool agreed a club-record-smashing £116million deal to sign Florian Wirtz, who will now undergo a medical. The Premier League champions are expected to add Milos Kerkez soon after, and have been linked with Paris Saint-Germain star Bradley Barcola.

Arsenal appear to have gone back in for Viktor Gyokeres as Mikel Arteta's striker search continues. The club have been in talks with RB Leipzig over Benjamin Sesko, but it is the Sporting striker reportedly the subject of one rejected bid. Another is thought to be incoming after Gyokeres rejected Manchester United. Martin Zubimendi will soon follow but Nico Williams is said to prefer Barcelona.

Tottenham have appointed Thomas Frank as their manager and are wasting no time on bolstering the squad as they make a move to hijack United's bid for Bryan Mbeumo. Frank could make it a double Brentford raid with Yoanne Wissa, too. Uinted are also interested in Hugo Ekitike, who also has admirers at Chelsea. The Blues are linked with Joao Pedro and remain keen on Jamie Gittens and Mike Maignan. Follow the latest transfer news, rumours and gossip live below!

Gyokeres 'officially rejects' Man Utd as Arsenal prepare second bid

Viktor Gyokeres has "officially" rejected Manchester United and a reunion with former Sporting head coach Ruben Amorim, after Arsenal reportedly made their interest clear.

That's according to Portuguese outlet Record, who report on Saturday morning that United have been made aware of Gyokeres' decision to snub a move to Old Trafford after talks with the player's agents.

With Sporting demanding at least €70million (£59.6m) to begin negotiations over a fee, Record express doubts United could afford to sign Gyokeres ahead of the likes of Arsenal.

Arsenal are now thought to be clear favourites to sign Gyokeres, though the club retain interest in Benjamin Sesko for their vacant striker spot.

The Gunners and RB Leipzig have been in talks for some time over a deal before reports of a rejected bid for Gyokeres emerged. A second bid is now reportedly incoming from Arsenal.

Gabriel sends Rodrygo message to Arsenal

Gabriel has urged Arsenal to make a move for “phenomenon” Rodrygo.

The Gunners have been linked with the Real Madrid winger, amid reports that he is not in Xabi Alonso’s plans.

It remains to be seen if a move materialises after the Club World Cup, but Gabriel has made clear he would love to see his Brazilian team-mate in north London.

“I don’t. No, I don’t, not really,’ Gabriel replied when asked if he knew if Arsenal would sign Rodrygo this summer.

“But I’d like obviously. Rodrygo is a phenomenon, for me. He’s not at Arsenal… If it depended on me, I’ve told people already, he’s a phenomenon.

“His name is mentioned a lot. If it was up to me, of course.”
