The offseason leading up to the 2025 NFL season has been host to a lot of players switching teams.
Whether it be as big of an impact as a quarterback, or a lesser-known player that could be a difference-maker, things have certainly shifted around the league.
One player to switch teams was J.K. Dobbins, who was recently acquired by the Denver Broncos.
Before signing with the Broncos, Dobbins’ career started with the Baltimore Ravens, and most recently played for the Los Angeles Chargers.
Some people thought that Dobbins was stepping away from a good thing when he left both organizations, but it appears that his decision came down to one thing.
Dobbins wants to get the ever-elusive Super Bowl ring, as he mentioned in a recent video shared by Dov Kleiman on X.
“I want to get a ring. I’ve been in the playoffs every year I’ve played. I’m tired of losing in them,” Dobbins said.
Wow: Former Chargers RB J.K. Dobbins says he chose to sign with the Broncos because he wants to win a Super Bowl and is tired of losing in the playoffs:

To Dobbins, the Broncos represented a team with a lot of potential and young talent, an organization that he wanted to be a part of.
Bo Nix might have been a big part of that, as he helped turn things around in the Broncos’ offense in 2024.
Newly drafted running back R.J. Harvey might not have been pleased about this signing, as it could cut into the amount of carries he receives in his rookie year, so there will certainly be some contention and competition in this room.
Competition has, more often than not, been a positive thing for NFL teams, so it will be interesting to see how things shake out in Denver.
