Report: Everton handed major Jack Grealish boost after fresh Man City twist

Everton and David Moyes seem to be making Jack Grealish a serious priority for this transfer window.

The Man City winger will be assessing his future with Everton remaining interested in Grealish.

It’s unclear where the 29-year-old will end up come the end of August, but the likelihood is that it won’t be at City.

Fabrizio Romano gave Grealish coming to Everton a 35% chance, as this transfer is certainly not a stab in the dark.

To add to this, Everton have now been handed a boost with Grealish, which Moyes needs to seize upon this window.

Jack Grealish a step closer to Everton after Man City twist

So far, it’s been made unclear how Grealish would actually feel about a switch to Everton this summer.

But one thing is for sure, and that’s the winger leaving Manchester this summer; however, he won’t want to go too far.

That’s after it was revealed Grealish wants to stay in the North-West, which hands Everton a serious advantage.

Well now, it seems as though the Toffees have a free run at signing the winger after what The Guardian are stating.

Journalist Jamie Jackson has confirmed that Grealish hasn’t received any offers so far, and City have stressed a loan is probably the only chance of a deal happening.

This works in Everton’s favour after it was confirmed that Grealish being loaned to Moyes’ side was ‘plausible’ and with the window re-opening on the 16th June, the Toffees have every chance to put their offer on the table with competition expected to be limited.

Everton have to act quickly for Grealish as first offer could be key

Grealish is in desperate need of a career rejuvenation after his failed £100m move.

An exciting project which could make him the face of the task at hand would be the ideal scenario, and Everton can present that to a tee.

Wayne Rooney loves Grealish, and fans will no doubt take the chance to sign him on loan, as he still oozes quality (1:47).

But the key thing about the recent update is that there are no offers on the table, and Everton can be the first club to do so, potentially tempting the winger as he’ll get the feeling he’s seriously wanted.

There is no better mentor than Moyes to bring a spark back into your career, and if The Friedkin Group are serious about this deal, now is the time to act.
