Everton could potentially give former Manchester United midfielder Fred a way back to the Premier League this summer transfer window.
David Moyes wants the Fenerbahce midfielder to sign for the Toffees in the coming months as they look to bolster their engine room.
Abdoulaye Doucoure won’t move to the Hill Dickinson Stadium with the Blues after deciding to leave as a free agent.
It would make sense for the Merseyside outfit to approach the Brazil international with 32 caps if they are looking to add more experience to their squad, but they’ve hit a hurdle in their pursuit.

It’s been claimed that the Turkish outfit’s hierarchy aren’t considering the Brazilian ace’s sale in the coming months as he’s seen as a pivotal part of the team.
The midfielder is the type of box-to-box star that the Merseyside outfit could arguably use in their ranks, but it remains to be seen whether a deal will materialise.

Moyes should be backed by The Friedkin Group this summer transfer window

The Scottish manager has done enough in recent months to give The Friedkin Group (TFG) confidence that he’s the right person to lead the Toffees in their new era.
Carlos Alcaraz has made his loan move from Flamengo permanent, but the Blues arguably need a bit more depth in the middle of the park.
While James Garner appears to have overcome his fitness issues, Everton still need to be prepared for the worst and have quality options on the bench.
Idrissa Gueye isn’t getting any younger, and the Toffees will undoubtedly need to think about his successor soon.
Harrison Armstrong is an exciting prospect at the Blues, and it seems like Moyes wants more experience with someone like Fred in his ranks.
The Brazil international showed some spark during his stint at Man United, which the Merseyside outfit could do with next season as they hope to climb further up the Premier League table.
