The Friedkin Group will be looking to secure bargain deals at Everton.
Despite plans being outlined that the Toffees will spend well this summer, it might not be so plain sailing.
Everton will want to abide by PSR concerns, and with potentially as low as £50m to spend, this means sales are needed.
Looking at the squad, everyone leaving is likely to be on a free, meaning no profit gained, with Jarrad Branthwaite’s potential sale the only one that can be considered.
Judging by the limited budget that could be presented, this means free transfers will have to be sought-after, and the perfect candidate is ready and waiting.

Everton can land experienced defender for free this summer
David Moyes will know he has to be ruthless to ensure the players don’t reach the toxicity levels under Sean Dyche again.
The Scotsman has a wealth of experience, which means he’ll be able to do this only as long as he has the owner’s backing.
Moyes will be able to test the resolve of many targets this summer, but only if they’re affordable, and now there is a defender screaming out to Everton.

Journalist Ben Jacobs has reported that Lyon and former Ajax left-back Nicolas Tagliafico will be available for free at the end of June.
Jacobs reports that there is interest from England, meaning Everton could already be in the running for the Argentine.
The 32-year-old signing isn’t just a stab in the dark, as there has been known interest from the Toffees before.
Lyon left-back Nicolás Tagliafico set to become a free agent at the end of June.
Lyon are still trying to persuade Tagliafico to extend, but an exit is looking increasingly likely with current interest from England.

Carlo Ancelotti tried to sign Nicolas Tagliafico for Everton
Evertonians might be aware of Tagliafico from his time at Ajax, as the left-back was an integral part of Erik ten Hag’s side that reached the Champions League semi-final.
Moyes will be hoping he can replicate this type of form, as competition for Vitaliy Mykolenko is definitely needed, as Mykolenko struggles with pressure at Everton.
He’s shown strong form at Lyon in the three years he’s been there as well, but it seemed as though Everton could’ve pinched the 32-year-old much earlier.
Carlo Ancelotti was reportedly looking at signing the left-back from Ajax in 2020, with a £22.4m fee reported by the Print Edition of Le10Sport (08/06/2020).
If the Italian icon wanted the left-back, it surely gives Moyes enough reason to bring him in to compete in Everton’s squad.
