Liverpool have already undergone plenty of change this season, and we’re not even halfway through June.
Jeremie Frimpong has come in to replace Trent Alexander-Arnold, and Florian Wirtz’s transfer now feels closer than ever.
Indeed, there’s still a lot more of the transfer window to go, which leaves room for plenty more change to occur, but by Liverpool’s standards, things have changed dramatically.
Caoimhin Kelleher is another one of the Reds’ long-serving players who has exited Anfield this summer, with the Irishman looking to earn himself a first-team spot at Brentford.

However, after the latest rumour to have emerged from Anfield, he may be regretting his choice to make the move to the Bees.
Alisson could end up on his way out of Anfield after Galatasaray enquiry
Liverpool’s goalkeeping position is the area of Arne Slot’s team that has changed the most thus far.
As mentioned, Kelleher has left for pastures new with Giorgi Mamardashvili coming in as his replacement, even though he was signed last season.
Armin Pecsi has also been brought in from Puskas Academia with Slot, hoping that the ‘keeper can fill in as Liverpool’s third-choice.

But, as per a new report from Florian Plettenberg, even more change could be afoot with Galatasaray now making an enquiry about the Brazilian.
“Galatasaray are still actively searching for a top goalkeeper,” he wrote via his personal X account.
“Among others, they have made a concrete enquiry for Alisson a few weeks ago.
“However, he declined — he is under contract with FC Liverpool until 2027.”

Liverpool cannot get rid of Alisson this summer
As has been the case for the past few years, Alisson has been one of Liverpool’s top performers.
The ‘keeper has kept the Reds in games they seemed destined to lose, and even though his injury record was a bit dodgy this term, he still had a massive impact on the Reds’ Premier League title win.
Kelleher is also an exceptional goalkeeper who deserved much more first-team football than he got at Anfield.
However, there’s a reason why he was sold on for Mamardashvili and why the Georgian is also coming in to be Alisson’s number two, and that’s because the Brazilian is levels above both of them.

Of course, it’s up to Slot who he wants to keep at Liverpool this summer, but one area that doesn’t need touching is between the sticks.
Only time will tell what the future holds, but if Alisson is sold on, Kelleher will no doubt be kicking himself for jumping the gun on an early move.
