It has been known for quite some time now that Marcus Rashford’s future at Manchester United is non existent under current boss Ruben Amorim.
During the January transfer window, Amorim sent Rashford out on loan as he had publicly expressed Marcus Rashford has no place in his current squad, due to his attitude problems.

Whilst out on loan, Rashford scored a total of four goals in 17 games and landed himself 6 assists.
Not a good enough return for Aston Villa and the Midlands based side opted against Rashford’s £40 million release clause included in his loan deal.
Rashford has been heavily linked to Barcelona since he arrived back from his loan spell at Aston Villa and the Spanish club have been eager to secure the forward’s signature.
The transfer’s development has been looking positive recently, however this week it has been reported that Barcelona may wait till the end of the transfer window to see if they can sign Rashford.

Barcelona are supposedly wanting a loan deal for Rashford with an option to buy at the end of the deal, quite similar to his deal with Aston Villa.
However this week, Marcus Rashford has been dealt a major blow in his efforts to sign for Barcelona.
According to Footmercato, Spanish superstar Nico Williams’ agent travelled to Barcelona this Friday and had a meeting with Barca’s sporting director Deco for over an hour.
Nico William’s has been heavily rumoured to be joining his Spanish teammate Lamine Yamal at the Nou Camp and it is looking more likely that a deal is going to happen.
Barcelona have been interested in Williams for a while, but after they believed a deal could not be done with Athletic Bilbao, they shifted their focus onto Rashford.
If a deal was to be done between Nico Williams and Barcelona, that would certainly decrease Rashford’s chances of joining the Spanish giants.
Without Barcelona’s interest it will be interesting to see if any other clubs look to seek a deal with United for Rashford, either permanently or on loan.
