In recent days, discussions have intensified between Manchester United and a Bundesliga club about singing one of their up and coming superstars.

This morning it as been reported that Swedish striker, Victor Gyokeres, has decided to turn down Manchester United and his former manager Ruben Amorim.
It has been rumoured for some time that Gyokeres was United’s number one target to lead the line at Old Trafford, therefore the news will be a big blow to Amorim’s plans for next season.
According to Footmercato, Manchester United have made positive contacts with Frankfurt youngster, Hugo Ekitike’s agent over the past two days.
Talks between United and the player’s team have been progressing well and Ruben Amorim will be hoping to secure the signature of the French wonderkid. Puttting an end to the speculation surrounding who United’s frontman will be.
Manchester United have also reportedly been in contact with Eintracht Frankfurt to inquire about the strikers asking price, showing the seriousness of United’s intentions.

Ekitike has found the spotlight this season in Germany following his time in the Parisian shadows.
The 22-year-old striker has scored 22 goals in all competitions this season and assisted his teammates 12 times in 48 games.
