Defender CJ Egan-Riley has joined Marseille after rejecting a new contract at Burnley.
The 22-year-old played a key role in the Clarets' promotion to the Premier League but has chosen to make the switch to Ligue 1.
Marseille announced the signing on Saturday after Egan-Riley passed a medical, and he will link up with his new club following the conclusion of England's campaign at the European Under 21 Championship.
Burnley revealed earlier this week that Egan-Riley had rejected a 'significant long-term contract' at Turf Moor.
His performances in the Clarets' record-breaking defence put him firmly on the radar and earned him a place in the 2024-25 Championship team of the season.
Egan-Riley began his career with Manchester City but moved to Burnley in the summer of 2022 and spent time on loan at Hibernian and PSV Eindhoven before forcing his way into Scott Parker's line-up.

Egan-Riley will join ex-Manchester United forward Mason Greenwood at Marseille, who finished last season as joint top-scorer in Ligue 1 (21 goals), alongside PSG's Ousmane Dembele.
Other former Premier League stars who suit up for Marseille include Neal Maupay and Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg.
The French side are managed by former Brighton boss Roberto De Zerbi, and were 2024-25 Ligue 1 runners-up, securing qualification for next season's Champions League.
