Manchester United’s transfer activity has accelerated as Ruben Amorim starts to reconstruct his squad in anticipation of the forthcoming campaign.
Promising moments were mixed with long bouts of inactivity in front of goal during Rasmus Hojlund’s challenging season at Old Trafford.
The Danish striker has since been linked with a move away from Old Trafford with Italian giants Inter Milan appearing as the frontrunners.
Since they are unable to play in the Champions League, United has recognised several attacking opportunities across Europe and is aware that they must act quickly to prevent losing out.
One of them is Wolverhampton Wanderers F.C.’s Brazilian sensation Matheus Cunha, with whom the Red Devils have formally agreed to a £62.5 million deal.
We previously reported when the Brazilian was scheduled to sign his formal Manchester United contract and undergo medical testing.
The Red Devils didn’t stop there however and are actively pursuing a move for Brentford FC star Bryan Mbeumo with a second bid being prepared.
However, a move for the Cameroon star could now be in jeopardy with Tottenham Hotspur FC in pole position to try and hijack the deal.
And now it seems that Manchester United could turn their attention to other alternatives.

According to CaughtOffside, Manchester United have been long-time admirers of Justin Kluivert and are monitoring his situation closely.
United’s recruitment team has kept tabs on Kluivert since his early days in the Eredivisie, and with attacking reinforcements a priority this summer, he remains on their shortlist.
The 26-year-old Dutch international received praise for his flexibility and goal-scoring ability during his stellar Premier League season.
Top Premier League clubs took notice of the AFC Bournemouth star after he scored 12 goals in the previous season.
According to sources from CaughtOffside, AFC Bournemouth has set Kluivert’s asking price at between €50 and €55 million.
