Arsenal are reportedly considering hijacking Chelsea’s pursuit of Borussia Dortmund winger Jamie Gittens this summer. The Gunners are said to be keen on landing a left-sided winger, and Gittens has emerged as a potential target.
Chelsea have already made three bids for the 20-year-old Englishman, but they are yet to meet Dortmund’s €65 million price tag.
The Blues are prepared to make a fourth bid, but Arsenal could potentially swoop in and sign Gittens.
Gittens has already expressed his desire to join a Champions League outfit, and Arsenal’s participation in the competition could make them an attractive option.

The 20-year-old has been identified as a key target for Mikel Arteta’s side, who are looking to strengthen their squad.
Arsenal had initially been keen on signing Nico Williams from Athletic Bilbao, but he has reportedly set his sights on joining Barcelona. Real Madrid’s Rodrygo has been identified as an alternative target, but the Brazilian may not be available for sale. Hence, Gittens has emerged as a potential fallback option.

The development comes as Arsenal continues to look for ways to strengthen their squad.
