Manchester United could save up to £90million after letting Marcus Rashford and three more stars leave this summer.
The England international spent the second half of the season on loan at Aston Villa after making the move to Villa Park in January.
Football Insider revealed on 4 June Man United are keen to sell Rashford this summer, but they have not ruled out another loan spell.
The 27-year-old is believed to be on around £300,000 a week at Old Trafford, with his contract set to run until 2028.
Former Man City financial adviser Stefan Borson exclusively told Football Insider it would make an “enormous” difference to United’s financial situation if they can sell Rashford, Jadon Sancho, Antony and Casemiro this summer.
Sancho and Antony spent time on loan at Chelsea and Real Betis in the 2024-25 campaign, while Casemiro did feature heavily towards the end of the season under Ruben Amorim.

However, the 33-year-old is understood to be on around £350,000 a week, with United’s wage bill standing at £365million in 2023-24.

Man United could make ‘enormous” savings after exits
Borson insisted United could save up to £90million if the four stars in question were to leave this summer due to their high wages.
He told Football Insider: “It will make an enormous difference to Manchester United if they can remove Sancho, Antony, Casemiro and Rashford from the wage bill.
“Those players don’t play very much. Casemiro did play in the second half of the season, but generally he’s going to play less given his age.
“If they can remove all of those players, the total cost of those players for next season could be £80million, maybe £90million.
“That’s a huge part of their wage bill just on those four players.
“So, if they can get those players out the door, then the financial side of things will continue to improve.
“Then the question will be, what do you do on the pitch?”

Man United and Brentford to reach Bryan Mbeumo compromise
In terms of a potential incoming, Football Insider revealed on 6 June United are expected to reach a compromise over Bryan Mbeumo with Brentford.
It is believed the Bees will hold out for a fee of around £60-65million for the 25-year-old, who registered 20 goals and nine assists in 42 appearances in the 2024-25 season.
United have only offered £45million plus £10million in add-ons so far.
