Manchester City kickstart their Club World Cup campaign in just a few days when they face Moroccan side Wydad AC in Philadelphia. The Blues are expected to take the revamped competition seriously, with £97 million worth of prize money awaiting the overall winners.
In order to give themselves the best possible chance to win the tournament, City secured four new signings in the first stage of the summer transfer window, with all four players eligible to make their debuts on Wednesday evening.
Pep Guardiola could ease some of his new signings into action for the club, with further group matches against Al Ain and Juventus to come, before a potential knockout campaign. A few new faces should be named in the starting line up though and here is the strongest line up we think they could use for their upcoming Club World Cup opener.
