Arsenal are eyeing a move to sign Real Madrid star Brahim Diaz, with a deal for Rodrygo proving expensive, according to reports in Spain.
The Gunners are set for a busy summer transfer window after falling short in the Premier League title race. Mikel Arteta's side are yet to get a deal over the line ahead of the window opening next week, but they have been linked with a host of players, primarily attackers, as they look to strengthen their squad.
Bringing in a new forward is likely to be one of their priorities, with production in the final third a key reason why they missed out on the league title to Liverpool. Injuries certainly didn't help their cause, but it's clearly an area that Arteta and his recruitment team feel they need to reinforce, considering the players they are in the market for.

Diaz, described as 'unbelievable', certainly isn't a direct alternative to Rodrygo. Diaz is more of a versatile option that has spent the majority of his career playing through the middle, while Rodrygo, who has also been described as 'unbelievable', is very much an out-and-out winger.
Diaz would be an impressive addition for the Gunners, and his versatility could make him a useful option for the north London club. The Moroccan star can provide competition for Martin Odegaard through the middle as well as cover out wide for the likes of Bukayo Saka.
